Sara is the very best friend of the bride. Sara and Halimah met at work at M&T Bank. Halimah was wearing a flower in her hair, Sara thought she was extra, and she was right. It's now 19 years later and they don't know what they'd do without each other.

Felice is the older sister of Halimah. She is her second Mom and still to this day bosses her around. Felice is a blessing in her sisters life, is always there for her family and a best friend.

Clara is Halimah's second oldest sister. They have been close since Halimah was born, sharing rooms, music and movies. Clara was Halimah's personal bodyguard and original best friend. Clara and Halimah are lucky enough to have boys that are growing up together and are close as they are. From Clara: It is a wonderful thing when you find that perfect person who you love unconditionally, and they love you just the same. Kris is the cousin to Halimah. They are thick as thieves and grew up like sisters (one terrorizing the other), which is why they fondly identify as "Sister-Cousins". Danie (Dizzle) is Halimah's cousin (raised like sistas!). Her ride or die and absolute thorn in the side, in the best way possible! Samiyah or "Bubby" is the bride's oldest niece and twin. From Samiyah: To My aunt/second mom/ twin. I am so happy for you and I thank you for allowing me to be a part of this process with you. Kayla or "Kay Kay" is the couple's oldest daughter. She is the self-appointed Family Director. She is not only the mood-setter (good and bad) but she is the glue that keeps it all together!

Charon is the couple's middle daughter. She is the calm to the storm and the logic behind the dysfunction!

Halimah and I met when we both started at City Hall. She thought I was “a lot,” but I followed her around every day until she agreed to be my friend. And I still follow her around to this day! She is a wonderful person, mom, human, and friend and I am blessed to have her in my life. Jack is a man of few words. I think in the last four years, we have said ten of them to each other.
